  • during the period of ovary formation, 1 g of soda and boric acid are dissolved in a liter of water, this solution is enough for 8 plants.

During the season, growing tomatoes can be supported by foliar feeding:

  • before flowering, the plants are sprayed with a solution of copper sulfate (2 g per 10 l of water);
  • during flowering, 50 g of superphosphate or 25 g of double superphosphate is dissolved in 10 l of water.

Reviews about the tomato Grandee

In the Noble, the fruits are crimson, in Budennovka - who gives red, who is crimson. But, in any case, both tomatoes are worthy to grow in their own area. I do so, although I do not see the difference between them.

The nobleman is not an early variety, the height of the bush is up to 150 cm. The diseases are moderately affected. But the palatability of the fruit is high. I liked the taste. The first fruits are large, pink up to 300-400 grams.

Charlie 83

The grandee is not bad. Yielding, large, uniform in size, not cracked. But the taste also falls short of similar "heart-shaped" ones - Bull's Heart, Mazarin, Fatima ...

A wonderful variety, very large fruits and tasty.

Vera Malysheva

The grandee is an excellent salad tomato variety for cold climates. Its fruits are not suitable for whole-fruit canning, since they simply do not fit in a standard jar. But for fresh consumption or making various sauces, this is a very good option. With some gardening experience, growing these tomatoes is not difficult at all.
